Purchase Ledger Clerk - Part Time

A leading organisation within the Construction sector requires a Part-Time Purchase Ledger Clerk in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire. You will work 25 hours a week over four or five days.The full-time salary is £25,000 (so the pro-rata for 25 hours will be Circa £16,666).

Reporting to the Operations and Finance Director, the successful candidate will be fully accountable for the whole purchase ledger process, from purchase orders through to invoices and reconciliation.

The duties of the Purchase Ledger Clerk including matching and coding invoices, preparing and running BACS payments and reconciling supplier statements. The post holder will be working independently but will be part of a wider finance team.

You will join an organisation of around 40 staff, half of whom are

based from the Head Office in High Wycombe. The company have been established for around 15 years, and have an excellent reputation.

Requirements / Duties

  • Previous Purchase Ledger experience
  • Knowledge of SAGE and BACS
  • Strong Excel knowledge.
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Matching, checking and coding invoices 
  • Making payments via BACS and cheques
  • Processing staff expenses
  • Processing credit card expenses
  • Bank reconciliation
  • Filing invoices

Commute from Marlow / Maidenhead / Berkshire / Aylesbury

Salary / Working Hours

Circa £16,666 for 25 hours

22 days holiday + Pension

9 am to 1pm / 2 pm - 4 days or 5 days
